These terms cover whetops.com and the forms, calendar, and newsletter that run through it. Engagements are governed by a separate written engagement letter, which controls if the two ever disagree.
WHET provides operations and finance systems consulting to owner-operated businesses and nonprofits. Butler CFO & Tax, LLC is the licensed tax and accounting division of the same company. Nothing on this site is tax, legal, or accounting advice, and nothing here creates a client relationship. That begins when both of us sign an engagement letter.
You may read the site, book a call, sign up for The Whetstone, and contact us. You may not scrape the site, interfere with it, misrepresent who you are on a form, or use anything here to spam or harass anyone. We can refuse or cancel a booking, and remove anyone from our lists, at our discretion.
The copy, design, logo, name, method descriptions, and The Whetstone are owned by Splendid Life Solutions LLC. You may quote briefly with attribution. You may not republish, resell, or pass off our material as your own. Client deliverables are covered by the engagement letter, not by this page.
Prices shown on the site are current list prices and can change without notice. The price that binds us both is the one in the engagement letter you sign. Founding-client terms, credits between services, and payment schedules are set there too.
Every business is different. Findings, timelines, and outcomes described on this site reflect our method and our own experience; they are not a promise about what will happen in your company.

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Splendid Life Solutions LLC and its divisions are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, and our total liability related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us through it, if any. Liability under an engagement is governed by that engagement letter.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, and disputes about the site are handled in the state or federal courts in Clark County, Nevada. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we change the terms, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date.
